loosing weight at 8 months?

My last two check ups I've lost a total of 4 lbs. the last check up was just under 2 lbs and I tried not to worry about it. this time I'm down over another 2 lbs. I'm currently 35w5d. I'm literally sitting in the room waiting for the dr but I was just curious if anyone else had a similar issue.

Your body is also starting to absorb amniotic fluid :) which is normal at this stage. I’m sure not all 4 lbs are attributed to that but that might be some of it :)

This happened to my sister and although rare- she had a small upper leak and was leaking for days... they should have checked her fluid just to be sure

Same here. I’m 35+2 and I’ve lost 4lb since my last appointment. And i go every Tuesday until baby arrives. So basically 4lbs in a week.

That happens sometimes toward the end of pregnancy because your baby is pressing on your stomach so you have less room for food.
