How much formula does your baby drink at 3 weeks?

My son is 3 weeks old (24 days) and takes in 3 oz, but his pediatrician wants me to lower it to 2 oz. Just wondering what other babies his age are taking in.

Mine was doing 3-4 oz every 2 hrs my pediatrician say it was fine since he wasn’t throwing up or spit up

My LO was eating 3 oz by that age. My Pediatrician said give them what they want, they are growing little babies and need the nutrition, we quickly found 2 oz was not enough after we brought him home. Now he is 7 months and will eat 4-5oz per bottle along with baby food

I can’t stand doctors that try to limit babies eating. If the baby is hungry, they’re hungry. You can’t starve them. When my daughter was like 6 weeks or something she was eating 4oz every 5 hours, they tried to get me to limit it but my poor baby was starving. So I let her eat til she was full. She’s 2 and I’m healthy weight. Still eats a lot though lol

Give your baby what they want.. my boy ate like that and he was the biggest one month old his dr saw but he’s now 4 months old and eats 5-6 oz just like he’s supposed to. If your babys give them food. As long as theyre not throwing it back up you’re fine
