hypotonia? in my 1 month old.....

so today his doctor shared concerns about his head and arms muscle tone...I'm just so worried and keep reading more.he seems like a normal baby....his weight gain hasn't been good but otherwise he seems ok. is there something I did wrong ? I feel so bad and scared for him...

That’s very early on to be concerned, what were the warning signs that triggered your doctor to feel this way?

Hi karissa! I know this thread is old but I’m searching hypotonia right now bc our pediatrician brought it up yesterday and I was just curious if your baby ended up not having hypotonia? Was the doctor wrong? I really hope ours is wrong

his head and arms she said..she said he is more floppy then most babies his age...they are waiting a couple weeks to see if it improves but I feel so bad...also could I had prevented it? I read somewhere it could be from low oxygen at birth and the cord was wrapped around him twice.. ugh
