So me and my boyfriend had sex last week on Monday and I took plan b on Thursday and I’ve been having these these really bad menestral cramps and I’ve also have been peeing more than usual. Could I be pregnant ? Also I’m supposed to get my period today and it is usually always on time. Should I be worried ?

Plan b is really only effective if it is taken within a day of having unprotected sex. Cramping is normaly experienced during the beginning of a pregnancy do to the hormonal changes. I would strongly recommend getting a pregnancy test ASAP to be safe.

Plan B should be taken with in 72 hours (3 days) of having whatever sexual mishap. Personally for me, it induced a period. But you should be pregnant or feel pregnant because it takes over a week for implantation to occur.

Do you know if you took the morning after pill or progestin only emergency contraception, sometimes there's differences on how quickly you should take them and you were towards the end of the effectiveness anyway
