This is a serious question. I've always wondered...

Why do people shove a pacifier in their newborn's mouth as soon as they are born? I've seriously always wondered... My daughter never used a pacifier as I never saw the need and didn't want to risk potentially messing up her teeth. I've literally seen people post the first ever picture of their little one's alreadg with a paci in their mouth. Why do people do this? 🤔
