I'm due May 16th, but have the option of a C-section on the 10th. Right now I'm trying to weigh out the pros and cons of each.

I like the idea of knowing when it's coming, avoiding labour, and keeping my lady bits intact (I know that sounds superficial, but I enjoy sex more than your average lady and am very content with how things currently are arranged down there).

But on the downside I've hear (dr.google) that c-sections can result in difficulty getting pregnant again, that c-section kids have more allergies and breathing issues, and that breastfeeding is more challenging as well.

Not deterred by the operation itself or recovery. More me and the baby long term.

Any advise?
