Where did you go to get your IUD inserted?

Did you go to Planned Parenthood, your ON/GYN (etc)?

I got mine at my local Planned Parenthood and it was actually a really good experience. The nurse who asked me questions and took my urine sample was nice, and my doctor was great. Very relaxing, and did everything she could to make it as easy as possible. She actually gave me a cervical block (numbing shots in the cervix) just in case she had to dilate me. She didn’t, but the numbing was still much appreciated. I was scared because I always heard people talking down on PP, but honestly I have no complaints at all.

I went to an ob, gp generally don't do it here (Australia). There was a health clinic I could have gone to but after I called them I decided I was much more comfortable going to an ob
