Potty training 22 month old

Any advice? We’re expecting baby #2 by July and we want to potty train him before he/she gets here.

He doesn’t let us know when he has gone potty yet, but he’s starting to get super uncomfortable in diapers and tries to take them off sometimes. I just don’t know where to start, we tried showing him his potty and putting him in his undies (he was like running like crazy and giggling while wearing them but ended up peeing in them haha)

It didn’t work or spark an interest.

Any tips would be helpful😊
