Help ! How do I get a period blood stain out of my couch ?!

I just bought an expensive fabric couch which I have insurance but would like to know how to get a period blood stain out ? It happened last night and I blotted it with water but now it’s daylight and I can tell the stain didn’t come out all the way😣

Yea peroxide but make sure to wash/rinse the peroxide off the sofa after you get the blood out. It will continue to eat at the material and can create a weak spot in the material.
