I was diagnosed with PCOS last year after not getting my period for almost a year. I was put on birth control and had a normal period, but was taken off the pill because of some bad side affects. After stopping the pill my period stopped again. I started 500mg of Metformin on 1/15, and a week later I got my period and it’s lasted for five days. Is this really a period, can Metformin regulate my cycle in less than a week? I’m excited yet confused.
