meningitis??

I know this isn't the best picture she head bobs when she breathes  but I'm just looking for some advice I've already made an appointment with the out of hours doctor for 1:15 but on the phone making the appointment when I was describing her symptoms the mentioned meningitis anyone who has seen meningitis or know what it looks like give me any suggestions? It's only on her face? Kind of freaking out!

You can check by pressing a clear glass on the rash. If the red spots fade when the glass is pressed on it’s not meningitis. If the spots stay red under the glass it will be.

It’s called a petechiae rash and doesn’t always mean meningitis. And this looks more like acne? Is it raised bumps? Does it go away when pressure is applied? Definitely consult her doctor but if she doesn’t have a fever it’s probably okay!

Best of luck to you, baby acne is very common so the spots are probably unrelated to the bobbing but it’s better to be safe than sorry.

I have only seen pictures but that does not look like it. I'm sure your baby is just fine ☺️ keep us updated

Kids with meningitis have fevers.  Good god I can't even fathom why this would be the in the first differential diagnosis over the phone.   I would agree it appear to be baby acne.  Hope all turns out well

Looks like baby acne and I think head bobbing can be normal
