Scared to test

I’m 2 days late on my period and been experiencing nausea late in the day around evening time, and a pinching sensation in the region of my left ovary. I am too scared to test yet as it’s always come up negative even if my period is weeks late. So I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced these symptoms and then later found out they were pregnant? I have one little boy already and had a terrible pregnancy with him so I’m not sure what to expect from a second pregnancy especially since they are all different I have heard.
