I've had a miscarriage before and a difficult pregnancy with my daughter being 2 months premature and suffering many medical conditions. I am 4 weeks 2 days pregnant and 2 days ago began to spot some so my doctor wanted to test my hcg levels to make sure they were doubled in 48 hours. Well it wasn't a miscarriage thank god but I'm confused because my levels almost quadrupled in exactly 48 hours. My appt with the doc is Monday but I've read it could be multiples or could mean the baby implanted in the ovaries or placenta instead of the uterus. Anybody have any ideas. Anyone else's quadrupled this early?
