Best time of day to take ovulation test ?

This will be my first month taking ovulation tests and wanted to know the best time to take them?

I don't know. This will be my first time using opks too. I asked my midwife, and she said to use fmu (first morning urine). What do the directions say for the opks you're using?

I use the Clearblue digital ovulation tests with FMU, that’s what the instructions suggest and I’ve never missed a surge... the only thing I personally don’t like about the cheaper traditional ones is it is very easy to misinterpret a positive and also quite stressful.

It depends on the test.  Some use FMU and others don't.  Read your specific test instructions.
