Racing heart rate @ 10 weeks??

Question

I can't slow down my heart rate, have tried slow breathing, meditating etc but I can't seem to calm down. I have an appt with my OB tomorrow and will obviously mention it, but has anyone experienced the same?

It will race if you’re dehydrated. It is common in pregnancy. Mine has done this with each pregnancy especially near in and at the beginning of second trimester.

I had this happen once during this pregnancy but think it's because I was out of breath from walking haha i would definitely mention it to your doctor especially if it's persistent. I think it can be normal though so I wouldn't stress too much.

As your blood volume increases so does your resting heart rate, enough to notice a difference but not racing unless you’re moving around/being active. Dehydration is also a culprit of a racing heart rate.

I have this all the time now (I have a heart murmur too so it probably makes it worse). But I think it’s something to do with the extra blood your body is pumping through. I could be wrong.

I had this last week. Idk what was causing it but it would make me real sick when it wouldn't slow down
