I usually buy it within a week of getting the invitation.

Depending on when I get the invitation, usually a few weeks before. Within a week or so of receiving the invitation. I like to be able to shop from the registry but still give something I like. I don't like waiting till the last minute because then there are only boring gifts left, or gifts that are outside of my price range.

I'm usually late to every event because I always have to stop and get a gift before 😂 if i don't do it that way I'll buy everything lol.
