What age do babies at daycare transition to cots instead of cribs?

completely depends on the daycare. I'm a daycare teacher, and where I work now we do it at 12 months.
But one place I used to work had pack and plays for any age, and it was up to the parents to decide either a mat on the floor or pack and play, no matter the kids age.

where I work it is 18 months. before that, legally they are supposed to be in a crib or pack n play (contained)   you could look up your area's licencing requirements.
