Ok so long story short my partner was recently fired from his job where he worked at for 20 years and since he handled the maintenance part he had loads of tools and all kinds of crap at the maintenance building at the place. He was immediately asked for all the keys and to take all of his tools away as soon as possible. (Locks were changed and all) He hasn’t had the keys for about a month now (since he was fired) but wasn’t able to clean up all of his work stuff completely until today. His ex boss was actually nice and gave him extra time to collect all of the crap since he knew my partner lives in a small apartment basically no room for half of his work stuff plus he drives a small car so he needed to rely on his friend’s pickup truck whenever he was available. Anyway, my partner has sort of a scary past/history at least for me, and he knows how to break into places easily. (I truly wish that was the only thing he had experience w/ from his obscure past but oh well it’s all in the past...🤷🏻‍♀️😕) ANYWAYYY so today happened to be the day he was finally able to finish taking all of his stuff from the place and I happened to be with him. The previous times he’d come over (ex job) to pick up some of his things he’d contact his boss since my partner doesn’t have the keys plus his boss is required to be by his side while he’s packing his tools just to make sure he wouldn’t steal anything that doesn’t belong to him. (That’s just company policy as far as I know my partner has never given reasons for his ex boss to think he would or had stolen something). Today he didn’t contact nobody and broke in the place, did not steal anything he just wanted to get this over with and he knew his ex boss doesn’t work today. He just said he has to drive to his apartment which is 5min away his car is loaded I do not fit in it whatsoever and he left me inside the maintenance building where he broke in. I’m waiting for him he said it’ll take a second but I’m so scared of getting caught being in here I’ve never done anything like this in my life. I know it is a felony if someone who works here catches me sitting in this little dark room cause I’m not supposed to be here but how bad is it? I’m freaking out.. Would I go to jail or prison or whatever? Or will i? Cause he’s not back yet and here I am shitting my pants...
