How long were you TTC before you saw a fertility specialist?

I am 36 and my husband is 33. We have been TTC for 6 months. Wondering when to make an appointment.

Go see your doctor as soon as you can! When your over 35 and been TTC for 6 mth+ they will take you seriously and do the ground work..bloods, urine, semen etc and good luck!!

Waited till 1 year, but I am 31. Recommended for 35+ is going after 6+ months TTC I believe. So probably best to atleast consult your dr.

We went at 3 months as I was nearing 35 and have PCOS. That was almost a year ago. Once you turn 30, I don’t think it hurts to see one for tests regardless of how long it takes.

I’m 35 and my doctor recommended TTC for 3 months than go ahead and start the exams if I don’t get prego before.
