I was womdering if anyone has been diagnosed with bv and used metrogel during their first trimester... Im 11 weeks 4 days... and took the gel today. Nurse says its safe, however midwife says she wouldnt treat until second trimester, but i called today due to very sharp vaginal pains... so the gel was called in... why is their such controversy over this issue? and is it safe? its so complicated when different doctors have different opinions... will i end up miscarriage? I just wonder, i have had these sharp pains all day
