So I have three great step kids, the two younger have a different mom than the oldest. For the last four years the mom has taken Halloween from us when we normally switched off every other year. Her reasoning? Her best friend(Auntie Mel to my kids) daughter's birthday is October 30th and they have to go to their "cousins" birthday party that is thrown on Halloween every year. I know Halloween to some people barely counts as a holiday but to us it was really special. Anyways after having a miscarriage in September we have decided to try again this cycle. Well if I do get pregnant this time around (I ovulate in a few days) guess what my due date will be...October 29th!!! I know it is petty to use the same excuse and say their siblings birthday will be on Halloween so they need to be with us. I can't help but want to do it though. I havent even ovulated yet so I am getting worked up for no reason . Just want everyone's opinion.
