bummed!

A couple days before my cycle I had a strong urge to test, even though I said I wasn't going to this cycle. We've been ttc for six months now. I went cheap since it was early and got a store brand first response. It was blue dye instead of pink and sure enough I got a faint blue line about 2-3 minutes after I tested. I was over the moon excited. I tested the next morning but didn't use a cup. It was more faint, but so was the control line so I disregarded. I tested again day of with pink dye..... negative. I bought a digital and took it the next morning... negative. I have no idea how I got two positives with the initial tests and then negatives, but remained hopeful. This morning I woke up to AF, two days late. I'm just so disappointed!
