My husband and I started trying for a baby in October. We found out I was pregnant 11/02 and were thrilled. Unfortunately on 11/28, 8 weeks pregnant, we found out it was an ectopic pregnancy in my left tube. Immediate surgery was necessary, and both the baby and my tube were removed. I went through a lot of emotional and physical recovery. We agreed we would try again after I had a normal cycle. I had been waiting and waiting for my cycle to restart, and at 8 weeks decided to contact my doctors office.

They told me to be patient, my body underwent a lot of trauma, that my period would start again. I told them I planned to get a test (just had a feeling), she said if it came back positive to let them know, but other than that just wait for my cycle to start. Test came back positive, and I was just in shock. We hadn’t been trying at all, but what a surprise. Today I got confirmation I’m officially pregnant. Wow I can’t believe I’m getting my rainbow baby so soon.
