Today is this little girls half birthday. (She’s incredibly excited because they celebrate it at school since summer birthday).

Well today she is a whole 5.5 years old. (Big deal she says).

She’s gone from having delays in speech (pragmatics, aka social speech), fine motor, gross motor, emotional delays to being a great friend who loves school with no visible delays. I praise early intervention ALL the time.

While she still has a gross motor delay she’s making strides and does incredibly well.

Today she’s beyond excited because she finished the entire Henry and Mudge series. She’s gone from just knowing her letters and such to a second grade reading level in the last six months. She may not be the most graceful thing but I’m beyond proud of my little monkey.
