So I fractured my pinkie finger 😫 and now they want to do surgery using local anesthesia to put pins and possibly a plate in so it can heal.

The thing is, I’m 11 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I was debating putting it off a week until I’m out of the first trimester but there’s a concern that, since this happened a week ago already, that the bone could start to set in place incorrectly. So I’m terrified and have no clue what to do. Has anyone ever had local anesthesia during the first trimester? Please share your experiences!
