What should I expect? fertility doctor

We have bee TTC for some time now and we join t took the step and called to have a consultation with a fertility specialist.   What should we expect?  What questions should we make sure to ask?   Thanks for the advice.  I know many of you have been going through this same journey.

They’ll ask you a bunch of questions ( # babies you want, your TTC journey etc ) and luckily I LOVE MY NEW DOCTOR. I already had day 3 labs ( estrogen / FSH/ thyroid) and semen analysis results going in from my regular Ob GYN but they ran my blood again and did an AMH test which you can google but tells you more about your ovarian reserve. I then had a baseline ultrasound on Day 5 to check follicle count anD uterus shape. I decided to get an HSG as well on day 8 because I had an STI like 15 years ago but wanted to make sure no blocked tubes.  Everything has been clear and great.... but still no 👶 so we will do two more natural cycles then a monitored round of CLOMID is the first next step. I hope this helps!!! It feels so good to get help and advice, so happy I went. I feel less alone now and like we will get the help we need. Hope this helps!

They will just ask you a bunch of questions about your journey up till now and explain what they do and their process. I️ also did a baseline ultra sound so that she could see how many follicles I️ had on each side and so on. I was super nervous but our Doctor was really nice and made it super easy. I️ hope it goes well!
