Blood work?

Got my BFP today! Gyno is only having me come in at 7 weeks for blood work and ultrasound. I feel like I’ve seen so many women on here get blood work right away to confirm. Is that the norm? Mine said they will test at 7 weeks...

I found out at 4w1d and saw my doctor today at 5w1d had labs (I am also hypothyroid) but my 1st US won't be until 7 weeks. This is my 9th pregnancy, 4 losses.

Most hospitals won’t do it for a few weeks now because its pointless to them, unless you are high risk or have a past with multiple miscarriages. Otherwise It’s pointless to have an appointment that early. My first appointment isn’t until 9weeks2days and this is my second pregnancy.

Here in Ireland your first ultrasound isn't until week 12/13 !

This is normal. On my first time pregnant I only got my first appointment   at 8weeks.

I got a BFP yesterday and am going to my obgyn tomorrow morning for blood-work and to confirm pregnancy. I won’t have an ultrasound until like 8 weeks or so. Every doc is different i guess.
