I co sleep with my 18 month old and she usually sleeps through the night with me but I'm pregnant with twins so I need to move her to her own room.

She's not a light sleeper but if I get up to pee in the middle of the night and I'm too loud, she will be up for the rest of the night instead of falling back asleep.

I got her a toddler bed but I'm not sure the best way to go about her sleeping by herself.

I'm not sure if I put her down awake and let her cry or I I should sit with her in her room until she falls asleep. Also I know if she wakes up and realizes I'm not there she will be completely awake and will start crying.

Any suggestions or approaches that you guys think would work best?
