I'm in nursing school and live in the colleges student living. They are not owned by the college, just affiliated. I have to listen to the 3 girls on the floor above me stomp around, play overly loud music, And talk to no end. It is currently 11:15 on a Monday night and I can hear them laughing away, stomping around, shouting, And tipping over and moving chairs. Would it be okay if I went up there myself and sternly told them? The RAs in the lobby won't tell them to quiet down because they say they aren't getting paid right now. The RA phone person will not pick up. What would you do? This all happens a lot. It is very frustrating when you are trying to get to sleep and 19 year olds sound like drunk elephants above you. I guess I could just call the local PD and have them write a fine, but that would be a waste of their time.
