Toddler meltdowns!
I took my 19month old to the clinic to be weighed today and she had an absolute meltdown, screaming and crying and red in the face. She can get like this sometimes but not as bad. The nurse started to question my daughter's behaviour asked was she sleeping, eating enough ect. Her weight is perfect and she sleeps a straight 13hours at night (No naps). I play with Her, read to her, put music on and we dance about together and she's a happy baby but when she doesn't get her own way she goes into melt down. My nurse said off course children meltdown sometimes and she's seen far worse but the way she was questioning me made me feel like I was doing something wrong. She said ignore or try to distract my daughter when she has a tantrum and that's what I try to do (although her grandparents give in and it needs to change) I just cried when we got back into the car, I feel like I'm doing something wrong
