Teething 8 month old

My daughter is 8 months old and for the last week she hasn’t been sleeping well at all. She’s currently teething. She will be fast asleep, I’ll put her in her cot and she will immediately wake up screaming and standing in her cot. I’ve tried cuddling her, leaving her for 5 minutes and then repeating but she doesn’t seem to be giving in. Any advice or recommendations would be brilliant.
