I just found out I’m pregnant. This pregnancy wasn’t necessarily “planned”, but after the initial shock I’m taking it as a blessing. Now, I currently live in a one bedroom apartment and my SO and I are living comfortably for the two of us. Adding a baby is going to make things a little tight but I know we will be okay. I wanted to move to a 2 bedroom right when I found out but now I’m thinking about staying here and saving up as much as possible for baby and then waiting until next year after taxes come back to get a bigger place. So we would be living in a one bedroom apartment until the baby is about 6/7 months old. I’m planning on having him/her in a bassinet next to the bed. Has anyone lived in a small apartment with an infant before? Do you think I’m making a good choice or is this stupid? Any advice or tips or personal experiences would be amazing. I’m an easily-stressed person and I have a lot of worry in my mind now.
