Birth control and acne???

Question

So I went to my doctors today with my mom and she said that to get my acne to leave I should take birth Control. So is it a good idea??? 
Does anymore have any stories they would like to share about Birth Control specially when it comes to acne I really need some advice 
I really want to but I’m afraid it will make it worse not to mention I don’t wanna mess with my hormones I like where they are 😂😂
Also weight gain does it happen ???

I did that my freshmen year of high school and it was fantastic. It really helped my akin clear up and kept breakouts to a minimum. It wasn’t magical but definitely helped. It was also nice once I was sexually actively to already be on birth control. I say if you’re comfortable with it then go for it

I’m on birth control, not specifically for acne, but it has cleared my face a TON

BC controls acne, it prevents it. Works for me, I stopped using BC fir 2 weeks and my acne come back as soon as I continued my BC my acne was gone
