Friday I was told I was 1 cm dilated. ok fine. you can be dilated for weeks. today I just felt so sluggish and dizzy. I called them because I just got over the flu and wanted to see what they suggested. got told to come in. he basically told me the sluggishness is just usual pregnancy drain. ok I can understand that. my blood pressure is a little high (130/90) but they don't seem concerned about that so I don't ask. then it was about 5 full minutes of him just roaming around my belly staring at the wall with no sound of her. I start to panic a little. he basically checks my crotch and finally finds a heartbeat. I breath a sigh of relief and he just says well it'll be any time now and lists the signs of labor and when to come in. all of which I know. after I leave I realize he didn't even check to see if I was anymore dilated. I'm so uncomfortable but I'm not having contractions yet. what does any time now even mean? is it still weeks away or days? I'm always told to listen to the dr but what does that even mean? ? ugh.
