I think it’s actually very un-selfish to do that because you know that bringing new life into this world is something you don’t wanna do again and that’s okay! It’s more selfish to do that because you know you’re having it for your boyfriend and not yourself! Tell him how you feel and decide between the both of you and no else’s opinion matters.

I don’t think this relationship is going to work out. Kids or no kids is one of those dealbreaker things that need to be decided on before the relationship gets serious. No one is going to win here. One of you will have to make a major concession which could later lead to resentment.

Now if you think you may want kids later come up with a checklist of things you'd like to happen first. I think you should leave him then. If he wants a child, and you won’t give it.. I would leave. He’ll never forgive you for that, he’ll never forget, the urge to father children won’t go away.. so leave him and let him find someone who does want a child. It’s selfish to stay with him when you won’t give what he wants. It’s very important to have the same opinion on having or not having kids from the start.
