I work in retail as management. There are only 3 of us at The moment, as we are missing 1 manager. (looking to hire) The past few weeks, I have been expecting to get sick, as the flu is high and mighty in our area. Parents bringing the kids in, staff coming in sick, etc. I am a type 1 diabetic, and I get sick easily. Well, it happened. I am sick. It hit me like a flipping train. I felt off the past few days (Friday it started) and today, I could barely get out of bed. Thankfully my other coworker needed to switch shifts with me. I was all for going in, but I am thankful I had today off. I slept the ENTIRE day away. Except for when I had my crying fits because my body hurt so bad. I have Vicks on my chest, took some mucinex to help break up the massive amounts of congestion in my head, and hopefully I will feel better later today, since I work the next three days.. Lol. I have a Drs appointment on Thursday, so wish me luck!
