Well this is fucking terrible. 
I do have a better idea. Provide a path to citizenship that doesn’t take over a fucking decade, and does not flush billions of dollars down the toilet on his folly. 
In particular I’d like to see a service to citizenship path, so that every undocumented person in the country that honorably serves one enlistment period in any military branch is immediately granted full citizenship. This path would also be open to those with nonviolent misdemeanor records. 
I’d like to see something similar outside the armed forces as well. I’m not exactly sure what though. Some sort of service based domestic Peace Corp equivalent would be nice.

Supporting dreamers benefits our economy. The wall does not. 
He’s taking money away from Americans and the American dream to pay for an idiotic wall to feed his idiotic ego.

Have any of you ever seen the border? Because I live in a border town currently due to the military and the “fence” is ridiculous (in that my two year old could get over it) and they let people in allllllll the time with just an id. They can go up to 25 miles into the us without anything other than an id. They have no insurance so mine went up and if they hit me they have no repercussions at all, it’s all on me. They don’t even have to take a drivers test to get their license. I hope the wall goes up and the terms of how and why we let people in even for the day change because it’s ridiculous here.

I disagree with the wall, but the compromise works for now imo. I’d rather help those people into the country than get caught up in that one issue that Trump has already made clear that he won’t bend on. If we are to get things done a compromise is needed from both sides.
