When is the third trimester?

I’m confused as to when the third trimester starts. Most places say week 28, but glow says it starts on 26, which is today for me.

All of the charts are so confusing! they all contradict... mathematically it would be 26.6 weeks as the 2/3 mark.... so like 26 to 27 weeks,  ish? 😂😂

I found this diagram and it’s been helpful for me. I think everyone seems to have a different opinion but i would say when you start your 27th week you start entering the 3rd trimester. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My OB and the hospital I work at says that 27 weeks is the third trimester. Even though they don’t start seeing us every two weeks until week 28. Plus most charts I see say 27. I mainly just go by what my doctor says. So Monday, when I hit 27 I will consider myself in the third trimester.

Well most OBs start seeing you every two weeks at 28 weeks to coincide with the start of the third trimester, so that’s what I go by!
