Anyone else's family hate their SO or at least hated them at the beginning? My family really hates my fiance right now and I would take like to know that other people's families hated their SO but now they love them like another member of the family. Comment your stories.

I would say my family tolerates him on their best day. I learned to NEVER tell them if we had a argument no matter how small. I keep our relationship VERY private. Hated him at first. 2 1/2 years now.

My parents liked my abusive ex and hate my fiancée now . 
Simply because he can’t always do up. 
Like he’s in the military i don’t have control over that ! 
His life was in danger(put in locked down protective custody for a week) and my parents were like he’s probably cheating on you.. 
Like FORREAL?! 🙄😒 
Yeah they hate him and I’m marrying him in August and I’m so close to telling them not to come to my wedding . 🤷🏼‍♀️

When I started dating my husband back in 2008 my family hated him. Told me I was jumping from the frying pan into the fire. They even would walk out of the house when he showed up. 
Back story we had dated briefly for 2 months 5 years prior. But broke up, he didn’t want to get married didn’t want kids. He had a falling out with my family because he talked a lot of smack. 
After about 8 months my family gave him a chance to prove himself. And he did. We now have been married for 5.5 years and my family loves him! (they might like him more than they like me)
