28 weeks. Is this my mucus plug?

I have a prenatal doctor appt tomorrow, but believe I just lost my mucus plug. I was having normal discharge all day, but it had a tiny of brown to it. Got home from work and this happened. I’m having very mild lower back pain. Should I go in or wait till things get worse since I have an appt tomorrow anyway.

Loosing your mucus plug isn’t an indication of labor, it’s normal for it to be lost early on it regenerates itself 😌

It can regenerate. No worries, I lost some around 30 weeks and then again around 37 weeks with my first.

Honestly; I had to think about it. I wouldn’t wait. If something is happening it’s very save-able right now. I would go to the maternity ward and get screened. Cramps with the mucus and blood is not a good combo.

I would go in your to early to be going into labor they can give you meds to stop labor but with blood mixed in like that definitely go in don’t wait

That is part of it... mine was like golf ball size and I lost it at about 28-30 weeks and the dr said it’s no biggie because my body will make another and it did😁

Go get it checked immediately. I lost mine fully (a lot bigger than this) and lost my twin boys 2 days later at 19w5d.
