When to pack my bags...

I'm 28 weeks with twins and the anxiety about the delivery is starting to get real... I was sent to L&D; last week after a particularly bad stomach bug left me dehydrated and experiencing mild contractions. I'm fine now, but it got me thinking... when should I pack my bags?  People at work are predicting I will deliver at 36 weeks which is creeping close.  When did you start actively preparing for the big day??  And any advice for a FTM on what to bring?

Pack early, you never know with twins! I went into preterm labor at 31 weeks and had gone to the OB straight from work and was sent straight to the hospital for admission. I was there a week to stop labor. Thankfully we were able to stop it, but it was close, and my bags weren't packed and my husband would have had to get my stuff (I love him, but he doesn't even know the difference between shampoo and conditioner... Not sure how I would have explained to him the things I needed 😂😂😂).

I packed mine the night before and morning of my scheduled csection at 38w3d 🙈 talk about last minute lol

I’m a FTM as well 34 weeks today with di/di twins. My OB says anytime after 36 weeks is good for her. We finally packed our bag last week. I’m keeping it pretty minimal. Basically it’s all my and my husbands stuff. Only packed coming home outfits for the babies and the JJ cole car seat woolen covers because it’s so freaking cold in Boston. Other than typical hospital bag stuff, I packed a small essential oil diffuser for my room and massage oil. Also a microwaveable heat pad, high protein snacks and cozy socks.

I packed mine at 30 weeks since I’ll be delivering at 36 weeks (or possibly sooner if anything comes up).
