Yes!!! By choice. Muxh better than being induced in my experience. If this wasn't our last our next one definitely would have been all natural.

I tried but had to get an epidural after 29 hours due to my cervix swelling. I wasn’t able to dilate on my own (never made it past 5cm) and they knew I’d need Pitocin to make it. The epidural knocked me out and three hours later I delivered my daughter!

Yes! Had a homebirth with my first baby. I had a hard time coping through transition but pushing her out didn't hurt and looking back I wouldn't change a thing! It was really hard but obviously worth it because I'm about to do it again lol

I’ve experienced both.
First - Was given narcotics (asked for epi right as shift change was happening) and had the epi for the last 4.5 hours of labor.  (Narcotics did nothing for me, the epi was great).
Second and third - my kids were born within about 45 minutes of getting to the hospital...no time for pain Meds.
I did practice breathing techniques via YouTube video...so at least I was somewhat prepared to go pain med free.

i had an epidural because after 6 hours of labour i wasn't dialating and i knew it was going to be a longgggg labour. first 6 hours were good i laboured in the bath with a hot shower head on my back but i never dialated past 2cm and needed an emergency c section so i was glad i had the epidural in place already.

Yes the pain didn’t get really bad until the last hour about time I knew it I was ready to push . I was up and walking around after 15 min recovery was seamless
