So I posted a couple of weeks ago about having my son at 32 weeks because of severe pre eclampsia.

So much happened in these two weeks. He was diagnosed with Respiratory Distress Syndrome and intubated. Transferred 2.5 hours from home. Transferred back after a week. For the first 5 days of his life I saw him a grand total of 15 minutes because I was too sick to get out of bed, on magnesium and he was transferred.

These have been the hardest two weeks of my life but geez is he worth it!

He is now in an open cot, off any breathing support, and his only goals now are to gain weight and feed orally. It will still be at least a couple of weeks until he is home though.

Look how far he has come!!!
