How common is it for a prospective employer to run a credit check on you? I’ve just applied for an air security position at an airport and I’m in the midst of their applications and medical exams, etc. They ask for a credit check (among other things of course) which I thought was strange, I’ve never had that before. Why would an employer want that info? Has it ever effected the outcome of your application or anyone else you know? I live in Canada if that makes a difference
