sad no work😥

So im a FTM and my son was born on Dec 26th. I also live in NYC and both his father and i are teachers(i teach in a private early intervention daycare and his dad in a CUNY school) well i was only given 6weeks off before i have to return to work(which would be next Tuesday). However i cant find affordable daycare services in our area. Its about $47 dollars a day or $200 a week for a baby under 7months. My job pays about 11-1200 a month after taxes so i would just be working to send him to daycare. So my husband said i should stay home with him until he's at least old enough to walk and finish my associates online so i can work at a higher paying school. I think its a good idea but i know I'll miss work.my co-workers n the children ive grown to love and feels like im abandoning them but my son comes first....im saddened
