when should i take a pregnancy test?

i was supposed to get my period yesterday but i still haven’t gotten it. i’ve been having protected sex once a week throughout january and am positive that no precum/cum got inside of me.

i’ve been having uterus cramps and kinda on the sides of my pubic area and don’t know if it’s pre period cramps or whatever it is 😖

i’m not trying to have a baby rn.

is it too early to be worried?? i’ve been pretty stressed this month too and i know that stress can cause a late period. i just need some feedback/advice
