How long is trigger shot in system? Bfp 3dp5dt

We did our first IVF frozen transfer on Tuesday. I couldn’t help myself and tested today at 3dp5dt. We only had one 6 day frozen embryo. It’s pretty early but there’s clearly a positive line... could this still be from the trigger shot I took 10 days ago? Don’t want to get too excited yet. UPDATE: pregnant!!!!!

You shouldn’t have had a trigger shot for a frozen transfer 🤔 do you mean a fresh transfer? If so, yeah I would be worried it’s still the trigger shot - but test again tomorrow and next day to see if it gets darker!

my first bfp was 3 days post 5dt... but was faint, got stronger over next few days... now nearly 11 weeks... it's unlikely to be the trigger (I'm also an ivf nurse). you aren't using any luteal phase support are you? progesterone is fine but sometimes they use medication that has hcg in it. as long as you don't have any of that then this should be implantation 😊😊🤞🤞

Update: had my first beta today and I’m pregnant!! Hcg was 117!!!

It’s now 12 days past trigger. They all look pretty much the same... not getting any lighter or darker. Thoughts?? 
The bottom one is still wet, the rest are dry.

hey, I don't mean to sound really dumb but what does the 3dp5dt stand for? I am starting my first ivf cycle this month (don't start injecting until the 23rd) and every post I see about ivf I'm trying to figure out if it means 5 days after transfer. anyway I really hope that it is a positive for you and not the trigger! I will cross my fingers and toes for you x

My trigger shot was gone by day 13 and I tested positive on 13 and 14... I called the doctor to check to see if it was real or not. The length of time it stays in your body depends on how high your dosage was. I think 14 days is for the highest dosage.
