2 weeks ago I had my first internal exam (36 weeks). Cervix was closed, no dilation and baby's head was between -2/-1, according to my Dr. I have had a lot of pelvic pressure and even some pressure near my rectum on and off for the past 2 weeks, not to mention lots of Braxton Hicks and a lot of discharge (not amniotic fluid). I went to my 38 week check up yesterday and.....no change. Dr said his head is low but other than that everything else is the same. What gives??? How long does it take for the baby to progress lower? I am still working and staying active. He's been head down and dropping since 32 weeks, plus as an added bonus I found my first hemmorhoid this morning, so the pressure is real! My Dr isn't concerned and says it's "still early" so I know I'm just being impatient, but I am so frustrated! Plus in the past 24 hrs I have had spontaneous coughing fits that have almost immediately led to me throwing up. How much longer can this go on? Anyone have advice for a FTM??
