I haven't dropped either (36+2). I read that dropping/lightening is like most other things in pregnancy, it's different for each person. Some women don't drop at all.

with my daughter I dropped beginning of 39 weeks. although I have a friend who dropped at 41 weeks and gave birth at almost 42 haha

I never dropped. I was induced at 40+5 and she dropped about an hour before she was born.
