How long after fetal demise did it take you to miscarry naturally?

Hi ladies,
I found out on Sunday, at 9w3d, that my baby no longer has a heartbeat. We also found out that they measured correctly for their gestational age, so I'm guessing their heart had only stopped very recently.
I was given the options to wait to miscarry naturally, take misoprostol, or get a D&C.; I've decided to wait, but if it starts taking too long, I will likely use the pills.
I just wanted to get an idea of how long this might take, as I've heard it can take many weeks.
Please answer with the number of weeks after growth seemingly stopped if you found out well after. Thank you.

I was at the same stage as you, it took one week to pass naturally. further ultrasound showed nothing left behind so thankfully no d&c; needed.

I was supposed to be 8 weeks but it was a blighted ovum. It took 28 days from finding out before the miscarriage started naturally. After over 2 weeks of bleeding the miscarriage hadn't completed properly. Tried the pills, they didn't work. I ended up going for an emergency D&C; almost three weeks after the initial miscarriage started due to retained tissue. Personally I would never wait it out again as it was a horrible long ordeal.

I had a fetal demise at 19 weeks... I had to be induced into labour... I was induced at around 2:30 in the afternoon and Ashton wasn’t born until 3:30 am the next morning... it sucked. I miss my baby girl every day and there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t miss her,.. I’m sorry you have to go threw this hugs....

I’ve had two missed miscarriages.  First one in June 2017.  I was 9 weeks but fetal age only measured 6 weeks and no heartbeat.  I miscarried a week later at 10 weeks. Second one was January 2018.  I was 11 weeks, fetal age only measured 6W6D.  I had seen the baby and heartbeat on scab at 6w1d.  I finally miscarried at 12 weeks.  Still having HCG levels drawn.  This week was at 20.9 and waiting for it to drop to less than 1 to try again

Mine stopped growing at 6 weeks 1 day, by 9 weeks I still hadn’t miscarried so I opted for D&C.; Who knows how much longer it would have taken 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi mine stopped at 8 weeks, found out at 10 weeks, opted for erpoc (like a d&c; but suction) at 14 weeks. My body didn’t want to let go of the pregnancy. Day before my surgery hormone levels were 32,000 so it would have been another 3-4 weeks of waiting after that to miscarry naturally. Procedure went well, I felt fine afterwards but had no aftercare from the doctors. I had sex fine just after I stopped bleeding around 5 days. The bleeding looked and felt like a normal period after the procedure. I obviously didn’t want to keep waiting for so long, and I was told how bad the pills were and how even if you take the pills you could need he surgery, so that made my decision easy. I’m sorry for your loss, xxx

I had a mmc found out at 11w3 but baby stopped at 9w3 waited another week still nothing I used the meds

I was 6w3d when I went in for my 8w5d appointment.  That is when the baby stopped developing.  I had a yolk sac and fetal pole but no cardiac activity.  I'm a labor and delivery nurse.  So I wanted to see if it would happen naturally.  It wouldn't.  So after 6 weeks (I was afraid of getting an infection) I took oral cytotec.
